VPA Budgets allow you to track how much the vendor has spent on advertising as well as check to see how much they owe to the agency.
This information can be tracked in two reports available in iDashboard, the VPA Outstanding report (which shows outstanding VPA owed) and the Advertising Spends report (which shows the total amount spent on advertising).
To set a VPA Budget for a property in iDashboard you will need to do the following:
- Open the property and click on the Expenses tab. Alternatively, from the property search results, you can click on the Actions menu for the property and go to Jump To > Expenses.
- In the Expenses & Levies sub-tab enter the value for the agreed VPA into the vendor field under the Agreed Levy column and click Update Levies.
When expenses are assigned to the vendor you will be able to track the amount of money spent on Vendor Paid Advertising via the above Expenses & Levies screen or the Overview tab for each property.
