Tags can be used to custom categorise properties on your website or trigger custom website features. For example, you may want to have a menu item for "Family Homes", in which case we could use the tag "family". Tags are usually setup by iProperty Support for you, and can then be used on listings. Tags are not used for SEO purposes.
Tag a Property
- Go into your property via Real Estate > Properties
- Click on the Edit tab, followed by the Advertisement tab
- In the right column of the Advertisement tab, enter each of your tags into the Tags field, followed by the Tab button to create the tag
Optionally, you can select from previously stored tags, which will be offered as suggestions. - Click Update Property
Using Suggested Tags
- Go into your property via Real Estate > Properties
- Click on the Edit tab, followed by the Advertisement tab
- In the right column of the Advertisement tab, next to the Tags field, click Edit Suggestions
- You can add new tags and delete previously created tags
New tags will be available as suggestions across all listings. Deleting a tag will not remove it from listings. - Click the X to close the Edit Tag Suggestions window
Auto Saving New Tags
You can automatically save new tags into the tag suggestions list when you add them to listings for the first time.
- Go to Admin & Account Settings > Company
- Click on the Edit tab, followed by the Preferences tab
- Under Real Estate Preferences, enable Save New Tags Automatically
- Click Update Preferences
