ABA Banking allows you to generate ABA files, which can then be uploaded into your online banking to help automate payouts and disbursements
Before You Start
- You must have Direct Entry setup with your bank and have an APCA User Number, contact your bank directly for more information on this.
- You must have ABA Batch Payouts and ABA Agency Commission Payouts completed in your Trust Account Settings.
- You must have Office Details, Company Details, Contact Details and Agency Banking Information completed in full, under Company in Admin & Account Settings.
- Contacts must have their banking details filled in to enable ABA payments, refer to the Contact Banking Information article for more information.
Generating an ABA File
- Go to Trust > ABA Banking
- Click Generate ABA File in the top right corner of the screen
- Check the transactions you would like to include in your ABA file
Any properties with an error will need to be fixed before they can be included in the file - Click Process Selected Transactions
- Your ABA file will be generated, and you will be directed back to the ABA File index
- Next to your newly generated ABA File, click Actions > Download ABA File
- The record will update to show that the ABA File has now been downloaded, you must now upload the ABA into your online banking for processing.
