"Hotmail Abuse" unsubscribes

Hotmail.com, Msn.com and Outlook.com users are provided with the ability to report an email they no longer wish to see. This action triggers an "abuse report" that is sent to iProperty, as we facilitate the email campaigns from iDashboard.

To ensure Hotmail and other Microsoft hosted email services do not block our email campaigns or start filtering them to users spam folders, we process these abuse reports and automatically unsubscribe these contacts from email campaigns.

When we do this you will see a note on the contact with a message similar to "Unsubscribed due to abuse report from Hotmail".

These actions are triggered by the individual contact requesting they no longer receive email campaigns from you. We strongly advise against resubscribing them to any of your email campaigns without their prior consent.
