As enquiries start to come in from different portal websites, iDashboard will start to automatically match leads to properties in your iDashboard account as well as contacts that already exist in your database.
iDashboard will attempt to match properties automatically to leads based on the information provided in the enquiry. iDashboard will attempt to match leads based on the iDashboard listing ID (PID), Portal ID, or the listing address. If we are unable to match a listing based on this information you will be given the option to manually assign a listing to the enquiry.
You can manually assign a listing by doing the following:
- Click Add Property
- Select the Property from the dropdown list and click Save.
Existing contacts in iDashboard will be matched based on the email address of the person who submitted the enquiry. If multiple contacts exist in your iDashboard contacts database with the same email address then the lead will be assigned to the most recent contact created in the database. If we are unable to find a match for a contact based on the information provided in the enquiry iDashboard will attempt to create the contact for you. If we are unable to create the contact, you will be given the option to manually assign a contact to the enquiry.
You can manually assign a contact by doing the following:
- Click Add Contact
- You can search for the contact to see if they exist in the database, or click the New Contact tab to manually create the contact in iDashboard. Once you have completed the New Contact form click Create Contact to add them to your database and assign them to the lead.
