Managing Contact Sources

 

You can track the source your contacts in iDashboard through the use of Contact Sources, such as Newspaper, Walk In, Phone, Web Enquiry, Realestate.com.au, etc. Contacts must have a source.

To ADD a new Contact Source:

  1. Click on the Admin menu.
  2. In the left-column menu click Contact Sources.
  3. The Contact Sources page will load, in the text field at the top of the page enter the name of your new source (it can be anything you want).
  4. When you are ready to create your new source click Add Contact Source.
  5. Repeat this step for all new sources you want to create.

To RENAME an existing Contact Source:

  1. Click on the Admin menu.
  2. In the left-column menu click Contact Sources.
  3. The Contact Sources page will load, click on the NAME of the source you want to change/rename.
  4. In the text box that appears change the name.
  5. When you are ready to save your new source name click OK, otherwise click Cancel.

To REMOVE a Contact Source:

  1. Click on the Admin menu.
  2. In the left-column menu click Contact Sources.
  3. The Contact Sources page will load, click the icon next to the source you wish to remove.
  4. The Delete window will appear, because all contacts require a source you will need to choose which source to reassign the contacts to.
  5. When you are ready to remove click Delete & Reassign.

WARNING: Removing a Contact Source can not be undone or reversed, even by our team at iProperty. Please exercise caution when Removing a Contact Source.
