Managing Canvas Areas

You can group your listings together in iDashboard through the use of Canvas Areas - these can be a group of suburbs, a geographical location or an agents territory.

This feature is entirely optional, if you do not add any Canvas Areas you will not be asked to select a Canvas Areas when you add appraisals to iDashboard.

To ADD a new Canvas Area:

  1. Go to Admin & Account Settings > Canvas Areas.
  2. The Canvas Area page will load. Click Add Canvas Area and enter the name of your new canvas area (it can be anything you want).
  3. When you are ready to create your new canvas area click Add Canvas Area.
  4. Repeat this step for all new canvas areas you want to create.

To RENAME an existing Canvas Area:

  1. Go to Admin & Account Settings > Canvas Areas.
  2. The Canvas Area page will load, click on the green pencil icon of the canvas area you want to change/rename.
  3. In the text box that appears change the name.
  4. When you are ready to save your new canvas area name click Update Canvas Area, otherwise click Cancel.

To REMOVE a Canvas Area:

  1. Go to Admin & Account Settings > Canvas Areas.
  2. The Canvas Area page will load, click the red trash can icon next to the canvas area you wish to remove.
  3. You will be asked to confirm you wish to delete your canvas area, click Yes, delete it!.
