The Portal Email Address field on an Employee allows you to define and use a different email address on third-party portals, such as Realestate.com.au or Domain.com.au.
Example:
You want the email address for each agent to appear on your website and you are happy for property enquiries from your website to go directly to each agent. However, you want all property enquiries from other websites, such as Realestate.com.au, to go to reception@my-agency.com.
In this example, you would leave the Email field on an agent set to their email. You would then set the Portal Email Address to reception@my-agency.com.
When your listings are sent to the portals, the Portal Email Address will be used as an override and we will send reception@my-agency.com instead of the individual agent email address.
